50 Years of induction of INS Kalvari Submarine

INS Kalvari submarine procured from Russia was inducted into Indian Navy on 8th December, 1967 fifty years back.  India Post release a stamp on INS Kalvari.  A sheet let also released which contains three stamps of Rs 5/- each.  The stamps are released by the President of India Sri Ram Nath Kovind at Eastern Naval Command, Visakhapatnam on 07.12.2017.

Stamp set on Mahabharat

India Post released set of 18 stamps depicting scenes of Mahabharata.  All the stamps have taken from various art forms through out India.  The stamps are released on 27.11.2017

Indian Post released set of two stamps and two miniature sheets on Nest on 14th November, 2017 the Children's Day.

World Food Day 3rd November

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi released set of 24 commemorative stamps and Miniature Sheets on Indian Cuisines, at the inauguration ceremony of the World Food India 2017, in New Delhi on 3rd November, 2017.

Nannaya, Draksharamam and Muddanna

 

   

 Set of 3 stamps released on November 1st 2017 depicting Adikavi Nannya, Draksharmam Bhimeswara Temple and Kavi Muddana.  Nannaya and Draksharama temple are from Andhra Pradesh, where as Muddana from Karnataka.
